About this act
Skopalova combines rhythmic gymnastics with dance in a Melbourne performance act. Her routines use rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon, with formats extending into circus, cabaret and burlesque. After competing in South Australia, she moved to Melbourne in 2006 to train at the Victorian High Performance Centre. Further dance study informed her transition into stage performance, bringing gymnastics apparatus and choreographed movement together in shows for different settings.
