Moore Black & the Organic Roots

Moore Black Mmadike brings highlife, Afrobeat, reggae and calypso influences to the Organic Roots. Based in Adelaide, the group grew from his earlier work in Nigeria, Greece and Australia. Spoken word also forms part of his musical approach. The band's recording Music Is the Healing sits alongside a history of local and interstate performances, with original songs connecting Moore Black's different musical experiences to the ensemble's rhythm led live sound.
