Tea chest bass, washboard and jug are part of the sound of Uncle Bob's Jug Band. The Eumundi group combines these with guitars, mandolin and harmonica, adding five-part vocal harmonies to its performances. Founded in 1985, the band has appeared at Australian festivals and built its act around music, humour and spontaneity. Its members bring backgrounds in songwriting and other live bands, while the unusual instruments give the show a character of its own.
