Sherif Handpan

Sherif is an Egyptian-born musician based in Melbourne whose work brings together world music and the handpan. This steel instrument produces both rhythmic patterns and pitched tones through light finger taps, giving his solo playing a blend of percussion and melody. A multi-instrumentalist with recording and performance experience, Sherif also reached the semi-finals of Arabs Got Talent.
