Dancing About Architecture

Late night jam sessions in Brisbane's West End were the starting point for Dancing About Architecture. The group developed into a 7 piece playing original jazz-funk, from slower ballads to rhythm driven pieces. Saxophone and flute join keyboards, guitar and bass, with drums and percussion supporting the arrangements. The ensemble's music puts those interlocking rhythms alongside melodic writing, carrying the exploratory feel of its early sessions into a larger band performance.
