Oud, guitar, bouzouki and percussion bring Zourouna's repertoire to life. The Melbourne band's three core musicians are Yuval Ashkar, Byron Triandafyllidis and George El-Azar, with extra players available for larger performances. Their music draws on Middle Eastern and Eastern European traditions, including songs from Turkey, Greece and Lebanon. Vocals in several languages sit alongside the instruments. The group performs for weddings and family celebrations as well as corporate events.
