The Melbourne 9 piece combines hip hop and jazz with Cuban salsa and Andean folk influences, reflecting the different musical backgrounds within the band. Formed in 2004, the group developed its live set through venue residencies and festival appearances. Three vocalists share the front of a full ensemble, bringing the lyrics into music designed around strong rhythms and a dance floor audience.
