Two cheeky elves ride life-sized puppet reindeer in Elves on Reindeer, a roving Christmas act from Woodend. Rudolph and Blitzen are built with moving mouths, blinking eyes and articulated legs, giving the characters more to do than simply stand for photographs. The elves provide the comic interaction as they prepare the reindeer for Christmas. The presentation pairs puppet construction with character performance, bringing the two animals and their riders into the event together.
