Paddys River Band

Led by Dave Johnson, Paddys River Band plays bush songs and dance music from its Southern Highlands base in Penrose. Lineups range from two to five musicians, with fiddle, concertina, piano, accordion and guitar among the available instruments. Dances are taught and called as part of the performance. The band draws on Johnson's long involvement with the Bush Music Club and folk festivals, bringing traditional music to weddings, community dances and fundraising events.
