The Lady Painters

The Lady Painters is a Bondi performance-art act exploring colour through movement, dance and play. The performers use painting as the basis of a physical scene, inviting audience involvement through hands, feet and other creative gestures. Their costumes become part of the artwork, linking the act of painting with the movement of the characters. The project debuted at Sydney's Great Escape in 2006 and presents a theatrical encounter centred on colour, participation and a changing wearable canvas.
