Jen & Ryan Tate

Animal behaviour is familiar territory for Jen and Ryan Tate, whose work spans puppy development, wildlife care and conservation dogs. The Port Macquarie pair worked in zoos before establishing Tate Animal Training Enterprises. Ryan has trained dogs to locate wildlife and invasive species, including koala detection during the 2020 bushfires. Jen's work includes educating prospective dog owners and writing the children's book Pouches Paws, Tails and Claws. Their media experience includes ABC's Catalyst, alongside public appearances at dog and community events.
