Trumpet, clarinet, banjo and tuba make up the sound of Sydney's Basin Street Jazz Quartet. The group concentrate on popular jazz of the 1920s, drawing on the New Orleans and Chicago traditions. Their repertoire includes Riverboat Shuffle, Fidgety Feet and Wabash Blues, among other tunes associated with the period. The quartet's festival experience includes a Port Macquarie Jazz Festival appearance with featured singer Khristina Joy joining the instrumental line-up.
