Susie Carter

Susie Carter sings jazz standards and torch songs for functions, dinners and wedding celebrations. Based in Chapel Hill, Brisbane, she performs as a soloist or in a duo, drawing on music by writers such as Cole Porter and the Gershwins. Her background includes musical theatre training at the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music and further vocal studies in Brisbane. Stage roles and cabaret appearances form part of that experience. Her repertoire mixes classic songbook material with songs associated with performers such as Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones.
