Zalia Joi, Shannon Smith and Grace Johnson become unexpected singers in The Surprise Guys. Disguised as wait staff, security staff or guests, the Fremantle trio reveal their musical role at an agreed moment. Comedy and close harmonies shape the performance, with songs ranging from ABBA and Fleetwood Mac to musical theatre. They use backing tracks and can work favourite songs or an event theme into the surprise, with audience participation part of the presentation.
