Waiting for Guinness

Waiting for Guinness mix jazz, punk, folk and mariachi influences in a Bondi-based band. Their line-ups use instruments including banjo, brass, accordion, flute, guitar, Mexican bass and drums. Beginning as a busking group, they developed a performance style that also draws on cabaret and western-film sounds. Their history includes Sydney venue shows and festival appearances around Australia, with the Basement, the Vanguard and Woodford Folk Festival among their past settings.
