Guitarist and composer Leigh Collins combines jazz harmony, folk melody and blues phrasing in his instrumental music. Based on the Mornington Peninsula, he performs with bass as a duo or adds drums for a trio. Jazz standards and arrangements of soul or funk songs can sit alongside his originals. Leigh holds a Master of Music from the University of Melbourne, and his recording Here's Why was made with bassist Lawson Kennard and drummer Daniel McKoy.
