Trovason Band

Armando Garcia, known as Armandito, leads Trovason Band in a programme rooted in Cuban music. Son, bolero, guaracha and rumba are among the styles played by the Sydney ensemble. The group can perform as a trio or expand to eight musicians, adding the instrumental weight needed for a larger event. Festivals, multicultural celebrations and private functions are part of its work, with vocals, percussion and other instruments carrying the different Cuban rhythms.
