About this act
Downrazoo plays retro funk, soul and dance covers with a lineup of five to seven musicians. Male and female vocals sit over live instruments, with songs ranging from dinner music and ballads to dance-floor sets. The Sydney band's experience includes weddings, corporate functions and a residency at Mancini's Supper Lounge in the Italian Forum. Themed nights have also featured in its work, including Halloween and events centred on 1970s and 1980s music.
