Tijuana Taxi perform the music of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass in a Bondi-based eight-piece band. Trumpets and trombone join marimba, percussion and a rhythm section to recreate the ensemble sound. The repertoire includes Spanish Flea, A Taste of Honey and The Lonely Bull, among other pieces associated with the 1960s group. Their Sydney performance history includes shows at Camelot Lounge, presenting this instrumental pop repertoire live.
