Daffodils

Daffodils are yellow-costumed roving characters presented on roller skates or stilts of different heights. Their illuminated headdresses and decorated bodices allow the floral theme to continue into evening events. Based in Joondalup, the performers interact with crowds at parades, festivals, retail activities and private functions. They have appeared at local events including Joondalup Festival and an Easter parade at Lakeside Joondalup. Organisers can choose a movement format to suit the setting, with the tall flower characters providing a visual feature as they travel through the gathering.
