Eric Grothe & The Gurus have been at it since 2006, fronted by the rugby league legend himself on guitar and vocals. The band's origins run back through Sydney acts including Three Day Grothe, Dave Gleeson & The Stilsons, The Booze Brothers Vegemite Reggae and The Wolverines, and they play the best rock and popular music from the seventies and eighties through to current hits. They perform regularly on P&O special event cruises and at festivals including the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Special guests over the years include Dave Gleeson, Jon Stevens, Wolf Mail, Mike Vee, Mal Eastick, Phil Emmanuel, Mark Gable and Sarah McLeod. Eric is happy to sign the memorabilia fans bring along, which happens most nights.
