Deep, soulful voice and her own piano underneath it. Esther Hunter trained at the Queensland Conservatorium and has spent her working life writing music and teaching it, which shows in the sheer volume of material she carries. Original songs run to hours. The playing stretches from soft piano bar through to electric pop, so a Brisbane cocktail hour and a full evening set are both within reach. She can hold a piano bar shift for up to six hours, or deliver a 45 minute set of her own songs. She also takes the microphone as a host or MC for weddings and functions.
