Ethan French works across performance, composition, arranging and recording, with piano and voice as his main instruments. He also plays guitar, bass, ukulele, drums and percussion, bringing those skills into both original songs and covers. His musical interests run from John Mayer, Stevie Wonder and The Beatles to jazz pianists such as Bill Evans and Tigran Hamasyan, alongside classical influences including Ravel and Beethoven. Ethan studied piano and composition before continuing into musical composition at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He has presented original work with string orchestra at St George's Cathedral and performed at the Perth Concert Hall, Badlands and Fremantle's Fly By Night Musicians Club.
