Excite is a Melbourne show built around a science-fiction premise rather than a set list, mixing dance and rock into something with a melodic pull underneath the noise. The characters are cinematic, the staging leans on lighting and visual design, and the material is a blend of the band's own writing and themes the audience will recognise. It suits a room where people are there to watch a show, not just hear a band play in the corner. No two nights run exactly the same way.
