Can a room full of five year olds move like an emu, hop like a frog and freeze like a statue? The Fabulous Lemon Drops build a whole set around finding out, and it works. They've been playing to family audiences since 2007 with a songbook of original pop rock: Dinosaur Boogie, Frogs Like To Hop, The Freeze, Copy Me Copy You, Fly Like A Rocket Ship. Songs cover emotions, the environment, healthy eating, reading and kindness, along with pirates, superheroes and Aussie animals. Percussion instruments get handed out so children play along, and there are singalongs and musical games throughout. Book them as a duo or the full band with mascots Flip the Frog, Ted the Bear and Flutter the Butterfly. A dancing Christmas tree turns up in December. Balloon twisting, roving and craft workshops can be added. They need roughly 5m by 4m and bring their own PA, including battery powered options.

The Fabulous Lemon Drops have created an extensive songbook of original pop-rock music for children from which to perform. Their songs incorporate a variety of themes including emotions, the environment, healthy eating, reading books, kindness and friendship.
