Acoustic guitar, flute and soprano sax, with a Latin lean. Favela Duo move between bossa nova, flamenco, Bach and the odd contemporary tune, which sounds like a strange mix on paper but works because both players have spent years touring and performing alongside some of WA's best musicians. The result is calm without being wallpaper. It suits a wedding ceremony, a drinks hour, or a corporate dinner where you want people to be able to hear each other talk and still notice the music.
