About this act
Sassy swinging jazz is Fiona Lawe Davies's home ground, and the band mixes in latin grooves, lounge, soul and the odd pop tune. The cues come from Peggy Lee and Frank Sinatra on one side, Harry Connick Jr and Madeleine Peyroux on the other. Vintage jazz age with a modern edge, basically. The band knows how event nights actually run, so they'll sit back as ambient music while people eat and drink, then step up into full swing once the plates are cleared and someone wants to dance. Perth based, and used to sharing a bill with speeches.
