Jo Elms, Liza Ohlback and Kim Hart front this one, backed by Jay Stewart, Brendan St Ledger, Eric Rasmussen, Victor Rounds and Kimi Tupaea. The program draws on Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Etta James, Freda Payne, Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, Randy Crawford and Roberta Flack. So it's a wide sweep of soul, and it's meant to be moved to rather than politely watched. Three singers of that calibre trading lines is a different thing to one voice out front.
