First Summer performs classic and modern party songs entirely live, without backing tracks, and can scale from an acoustic jazz duo up to a full five-piece across as many as six sets in one evening. That range suits background music for arrivals and dinner before building to a full party set later on. The catalogue draws on Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Earth Wind and Fire, Bon Jovi and Daft Punk among others, with new songs learned on request given enough notice. The Bose sound system covers audiences up to 400, and the band needs a minimum five by four metre space.
