Flaming Sambucas

Founder members Terry Nicholas on keyboards and vocals and Michael Potter on guitar lead the Flaming Sambucas, joined by vocalists Jayde McSeveney and Michelle Gorgula in a lineup styled on the classic two-and-two ABBA format. The band has played international conferences, Adelaide's Carols by Candlelight, the Barossa Under the Stars ahead of Sir Cliff Richard, and events for Qantas, the Adelaide Crows and Port Power. Cruise performances took the band from Singapore to Phuket, and later from Los Angeles to Acapulco alongside The Pointer Sisters and Mondo Rock. Songs move across eras and genres in a single set, from Motown grooves to more recent chart pop, and quieter dinner music is available when a function calls for it; the band can also switch into a dedicated ABBA tribute show complete with costume.
