Jayne Murphy founded Flowers For Jayne in 2019 and is the band's songwriter, guitarist, lead vocalist and producer. She's worked in the Australian music industry since 1984, as a musician and as a music professional touring every state and territory, and played lead guitar in several Sydney bands including the Lime Spiders. A non-binary transwoman and a vocal supporter of women in music. The band is a power trio and the shows run hot.
