In 1997 he opened the Showroom at Sydney's Star City Casino alongside Tom Jones, then held a month-long residency there with an eighteen-piece band, The Sydney All Stars. A support slot for Burt Bacharach's Australian tour followed in 1998. He sang a big band swing arrangement of the national anthem at the Sydney Opera House, headlined the Darling Harbour Jazz Festival in 2006, and hosted Vinyl Revival, a music show that ran for four years on Fox Network's TV1.
