Freeline

Freeline are an alternative rock trio from Townsville, mixing indie sensibilities with the harder, plainer edge of Australian rock. Three pieces and no padding. A trio has nowhere to hide, which is usually a good sign about the players in it, and this one leans into that rather than trying to sound bigger than it is. It's a lineup that suits north Queensland pub rooms and small festival stages, where a band either fills the space or it doesn't.
