Born in Melbourne, based on Crete, and the riffing is squarely antipodean: AC/DC, The Hard Ons and The Angels, run through childhood loves like Bikini Kill, Motorhead, The Prodigy and Rage Against The Machine. The Xylouris siblings bring a discipline and a skillset to it that no other band has, and instead of tidying the music up it makes FRENZEE relentlessly consistent. They don't sound like anybody else, which is rarer than bands claim.
