FunkyJ has been spinning records since the late 90s, though by his own account it's only in recent years that it really clicked. Now he's back in bars, bandrooms and clubs around Melbourne with a blend of funk, soul, hip hop and disco. A part-time DJ and a full-time music lover, which is a distinction that tends to show up in the crate rather than the calendar. Warm, groove-first sets for a room that wants to dance without being battered.
