Fusion Mafiosi

Fusion Mafiosi are a Sydney band built out of three serious players. Danny John is on guitar, having spent time at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood studying and playing with Mike Stern, Scott Henderson, Brett Garsed, Gary Willis and Steve Trovato, and shared stages with Ray Luzier, Brian Tichy and Vanessa Amorosi. James Dennett is on drums, taught early by his father and later by Chris McCaig and Milan Troha at the Billy Hyde Academy in Sydney, and he won the national Billy Hyde Open Drummers Playoff in 2003. He's had his own columns in a US drumming magazine and is writing a drum book. Marcos Gil, from Buenos Aires, plays bass, studied at the SADEM Music Institute and has worked venues, festivals and corporate events across South America and Australia.
