Fusion X are a five piece from Brisbane playing funk, disco and soul, and the whole point of the band is keeping people on the floor. The set pulls from Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Chic, Jamiroquai, Aretha Franklin, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse and Dua Lipa, with September, Uptown Funk, I Will Survive and Valerie in the mix. Up to four 45 minute sets are available. They also offer an acoustic trio of female vocals, piano and saxophone, or a piano and sax duo, for the dinner and canape stretch before the band kicks in. They've played Lefty's and Doo-Bop. They ask for a 45 minute sound check and carry public liability insurance.
