Fiddle and guitar are the core, and the rest gets added depending on what the event needs: cajon and bodhran, Irish whistle, viola or bass. Gael Warning play contemporary trad from across the Celtic diaspora, which means slow melodies tied to landscape and story at one end and flat out dance music at the other. They'll shape the set list around your day rather than run the same list every time. Acoustic is an option for small rooms, or they bring their own sound gear where power allows, and for bigger venues they can use pickups and mics through hired equipment.
