Garry Carlon

Bundaberg pianist Garry Carlon performs varied repertoire, moving between a baby grand for a piano man style set and a Roland digital keyboard for dinners and dance floors. Garry Carlon's set draws on Billy Joel, Elton John, James Taylor, The Eagles, The Bee Gees, Chris Rea, Neil Diamond and Joe Cocker, jazz standards from Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, and country songs by Johnny Cash, Charley Pride and Alan Jackson. A classically trained singer and teacher, Garry has fronted bands around Australia, sung on national television on the IMT show and worked as a cabaret and recording artist through Sydney and Melbourne pubs and clubs, taking requests while chatting with guests between songs.
