Genevieve McCarthy

A musical theatre background sits behind Genevieve McCarthy's work as a presenter and host, and it comes through in how confidently she fills a large room. She has fronted the Lotterywest Christmas Spectacular, staged by WASO with the City of Perth at RAC Arena, to crowds of more than 7,000 a night. Acting and singing credits run either side of that hosting work: a part in The Spy Who Dumped Me, the voice of Aubrey in Thomas & Friends, and stage roles in Les Misérables, The Sound of Music, Sweeney Todd and Mythic. Her singing has opened events including a West Test at Optus Stadium, and she co-founded a production company behind touring Disney in Concert shows. A Royal Academy of Music postgraduate degree and a law degree sit behind a career built on handling big rooms with precision.
