About this act
Thirty years on the road with working bands, then a decision to scale it all down to one person. Geoff Udy plays acoustic guitar over a stomp box for the mellow end of the night, and switches to electric with backing tracks when the room wants a full band sound. Bose PA gear, Maton and Fender guitars, and a songbook that runs from ABBA to The Angels. Geraldton is home base, and the diary takes in restaurant dinners, club nights, pub gigs, weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and mine sites. Weddings can take in ceremony background music, live reception entertainment, DJ music and MC duties, with a microphone on hand for the speeches. He needs a small covered area and power nearby, and brings the rest.
