Lederhosen, a beer hall sound, and a set that ambushes you. The Perth German Oompah Band play the real Bavarian drinking songs, Ein Prosit, Bayerisches Bierlied and Waldeslust among them, then push Long Way to the Top, Khe Sanh, Down Under and Never Tear Us Apart through the same oom-pah-pah treatment. It works roving through a festival crowd and it works on a main stage. Oktoberfest is the obvious booking, but any party that wants noise and a bit of silliness will get it.
