Giselle

A decade of singing lessons sits behind this Sydney songwriter's move into pop with a rawer, more intimate edge. The material leans on ballads as much as melody, built to carry a story rather than just a hook. Giselle only started booking shows last year, taking an acoustic guitar out to the streets of Sydney and, further afield, Paris, working a mix of original songs and covers into each set. It is early days for a live career that so far has run on pavements as much as stages, with the sound still being shaped gig by gig.
