Contemporary folk and soul are the roots, with R&B colour worked through the writing. Glen Wee has a soulful voice and an ear for a delicate melody, and the combination has turned into a style that is properly his own. His first full length solo album, Sounds in the City, came out through Warner Music, and it covers a lot of ground from ambient material through to festival sized songs.
