Glenn Skuthorpe

Stripped back to one voice and one guitar, and the songs hold up fine that way. Glenn Skuthorpe is a lyricist and composer with six albums out and a seventh arriving in 2025, plus soundtrack work on The Emu Runner and John Pilger's documentary Utopia. Stages shared include Buffy Sainte-Marie, Steve Earle, Kev Carmody, Archie Roach, Rory McLeod, Michelle Shocked, Buddy Miller and Mary Gauthier. He founded First Nations Voices, an initiative putting Indigenous artists on stage together in the round. Festival dates run through Adelaide Fringe, BIGSOUND, Port Fairy, Byron Bay Bluesfest and Woodford, with international dates in Canada, New Zealand and Germany. Urban street blues at one end, wide open country at the other.
