Five musically frustrated dreamers who never quite grew up went out for a beer, and Gloss came out of it. Angie Childs fronts the band after more than a decade of solo, duo and trio work, and she's clear about why the five piece is different: there's a power in the engine room of a full band that she's hooked on. Song choices come from what the band plays well and what gets people dancing, mostly 1970s and 1980s material, with a preference for songs that can take a bit of tweaking. They're an authentic rock band applying that treatment to some fun songs you would not otherwise hear at a gig.
