About this act
Five pieces, four sets of forty minutes, fifteen minute breaks in between. Goldplay run the arithmetic of a proper Adelaide party band and then fill it with the songs that get people up: Nutbush City Limits, Higher and Higher, Get Ready, Proud Mary, Honky Tonk Woman, Mustang Sally, Long Way to the Top. The catalogue starts in the 1970s and keeps going, taking in AC/DC, ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, the Rolling Stones, Jimmy Barnes, The Bamboos and Jimmy Eat World. PA and lighting come with the band, along with a bit of audience participation. They'll want ninety minutes in the room beforehand for setup and a sound check. Public liability insurance is in place.
