Golgothan Remains play dark, dissonant death metal out of Sydney, formed in 2015 by members of earlier bands now long buried. Two full-length albums in, plus the EP "Bearer of Light, Matriarch of Death" released in December 2024, they've built a name at home and further afield. They've shared stages with Behemoth, Ulcerate, Wolves in the Throne Room, Aura Noir, Blood Incantation, Psycroptic and Werewolves, and they know how to turn a venue into something genuinely oppressive. Heavy, obscure, and not remotely interested in being background music.
