Grand Alpha Funk pull together some of Brisbane's most respected players into a seven piece with two lead vocalists, saxophone doubling on tenor and lead, guitar, bass, keys, drums and percussion. Nearly everyone sings, which is why the harmonies land. The song list runs top 40, pop, disco, funk, R&B, hip hop, jazz, blues and slower soul numbers for the dinner part of the night, so one band can carry an event from the first drink to the last dance. They take corporate events, weddings, private functions, special occasions and themed events.
