Grand Theft Audio put three voices out front and a tight four piece band behind them. Jason Bird sings, alongside Australian Idol finalist Katherine Curnow and Amrit Sidhu, who came through WAAPA. The set takes chart hits and the better tracks of the last twenty years and reworks them rather than copying them, running from Kanye West, Sam Sparro and Sneaky Sound System back to James Brown and Michael Jackson. It's a Perth band, and the vocal firepower is the reason to book it.
